No one left behind - vaccinating the region's vulnerable
Our immunisation team is dedicated to ensuring that no one misses out on an opportunity to receive a vaccination to help protect themselves and their loved ones against COVID-19.
The Barwon South West Public Health Unit in-reach immunisation team have made regular trips to support agencies throughout the Geelong region to ensure vulnerable people in our community are able to access a vaccination.
Recently they visited Lazarus Community Centre again to provide Chris with his second dose. Chris is now fully vaccinated and protected against COVID-19.
The Lazarus Community Centre is a safe and welcoming place for people to meet and be supported as valued members of our community.
Their team aim improve the life and wellbeing of people living in the Geelong area who maybe homeless, lonely and socially isolated.
