The Barwon Health South West Public Health Unit (BSWPHU) is preparing for a school holiday vaccination pop-up clinic to help improve access to COVID-19 vaccinations for parents, guardians and carers and their children.
The clinic will be held at Corio Village near Kmart on Thursday 21 & Friday 22 April from 10am until 3.00pm.
Barwon Health’s Vaccination Operations Manager Deb Kay hopes the clinic will support the local community getting vaccinated and improve the area’s third dose and child vaccination rates,

“We have chosen Corio Village as the location for the school holiday clinic as we hope it will mean people who are not up to date with their vaccinations can easily access a walk-in vaccination in between doing their shopping. We also hope that with public transport regularly stopping at the shopping centre, this will also help reduce any barriers people may have found in trying to book a vaccination,” she says.
