Translated vaccination information sessions provide comfort to community

A partnership between Diversitat and Barwon South West Pubic Health Unit has provided information sessions for a number of cultural groups in the region.
The events have all featured Professor Eugene Athan, Director of the Barwon South West Public Health Unit, and have included both online and face-to-face sessions complete with a translator.
Professor Athan, an infectious disease specialist, has provided vital vaccination information to groups including Karen and Karenni women, Afghan women and Arabic speaking people.
The session allowed the attendees to ask questions about COVID-19 and vaccination.
