Geelong Rainbow Festival and Pride March

On Saturday March 25, staff from the Barwon South West Public Health Unit attended the Geelong Rainbow Festival and Pride March.

The team offered Mpox vaccinations at a pop-up clinic, and teams from Barwon Health’s Palliative Care, Carer Support, Speech Pathology and the Gender Affirming Voice Training also attended the fair with information about their respective services.

The event was a great opportunity to reduce barriers to vaccination access, and offer vaccinations and information in safe, supportive environment.
