International Network on Health and Hepatitis in Substance Users (INHSU) 2024

In October this year 677 people from 60 countries attended the International Network on Health and Hepatitis in Substance Users (INHSU) in Athens Greece.
This year marked one of the most significant conferences yet, with a record-breaking 526 abstract submissions. Which resulted in 319 oral presentations from 211 speakers, 239 posters from 188 presenters, and 79 chairpersons delivering 70 hours of content over five days, including the Policy, Community, and Prisons pre-conference events.
INHSU 2024 sparked crucial discussions on hepatitis C equity, safer supply, NSP scale-up, drug policy, harm reduction, and more. The equal representation of community voices alongside researchers, clinicians, and policymakers made this year a true catalyst for change.
BSWPHU presented at the conference on Destination micro-elimination: Hepatitis C point-of-care testing uptake in the Barwon South West.
