16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 November – 10 December) provides an opportunity for the Respect 2040 partnership to lead a coordinated regional initiative to build community capacity and drive action to promote respect and prevent violence against women across the Barwon South West region.
The “16 Days of Activism” is an annual international campaign to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls, running from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day).
